SETROX was interviewed at the Paranonia Party in Köln by Yankee of Brainstorm. When was your group founded? -About eight months ago.
Which groups did your members come from? -From two little Swiss groups, Atrox and Senses (SEnses&aTROX).
How did you start? -After the Piranhas Party some demos and trainers were released. The groups slowly split, and we noticed that two spreaders didn't spread our stuff, so they just "got gone". Before the crash we had 16 members, and now we have 3 and a half.
What are the current members and their functions? Zyr (Coder, Organizer) Pioneer (Swapper, Sounder) Moses (Modem trader) Cortez (Coder, Trainer)
How would you categorize yourselves in Switzerland and in the world? -We don't care, it's quality and not quantity that counts. One can release 10 bad disks, but it's more efficent to release one good disk.
Who are, according to you, the best groups? -Quality: Defjam and Vision Factory. Quantity: Quartex. Legendary groups are Ackerlight, HQC and Unit A.
What do you like besides of computers? -Drinking and chicks (except Martina Strack!)
What do you hate? -Groups who are just selling stuff and don't want to produce anything. School. Markt & Technik (except Göckel, really cool guy). Bad parties.
What do you think about Lamers? -Lame is the one who does more with his mouth than with his computer. Lame doesn't mean having no stuff. Lamers are ok as long as they know that they're lame.
What about the war between Quartex and Paranomia? -None of them will be the winner. Other groups just profit.
You are just 4 guys, but nevertheless more active than many big groups. Are you looking for some more people? -Yes, we are looking for graphicans and fast original suppliers.
Why for original suppliers? Do you intend to do some cracking? -Yes.
What are your plans for the future? -More trainers, good demos, continue our tool-series.
Do you have a contact address? -Yes.
Your mottos? 1. We have no problems with alcohol, except we cant get some. 2. Hängt der Moses dir am Saum, steck ihn in den Kofferraum! (by Yankee.)
