This is a questonaire with Speedy which emphasizes on the Norwegian scene. 1) Please give us briefly your Name, Group and Location. -Speedy of Visual Arts, West Coast of Norway, 12.01.90
2) List us the good groups in your country (in order of importance). -At the moment these groups are Norway's best:
Razor 1911 IT Cryptoburners Crusaders No Limits Fraxion
3) Why do you think so? Give us some information. -I think Razor 1911 is the best because of they are the only group in Norway that are doing cracks and trainers. They also make cool demos once in a while, they are really cool dudes, and their mailswapping is quite good. They have some good musicians. They have a BBS in the States.
-IT used to be Norway's leading crew, but haven't made much lately (they are at the moment working with some games). They don't crack, train or swap by modem, but they are really great demo-coders. They are also having a lot of swap-partners. They are going to arrange a copyparty together with Cryptoburners and Visual Arts in the Easter-holiday. The members of IT are really cool! Walkman of IT is the best musician around...
-Cryptoburners code very nice demos. (I think they are at the moment coding their Megademo II (rumours, rumours...)). They don't crack or trade by modem, but they have a really long greetingslist... As mentioned earlier, they are going to have a party in the Easter. These guys are really great, and they have a very "psycho-pervert" kind of humour (like me...). They have some quite fast and good mailswappers.
-No Limits have made some nice demos. They are a quite new group, so it will be interesting to see their coming demos. I don't know much about them, but they have a sick sense of humour, and I like that! They are fast and good mailswappers.
-Crusaders have the best BBS in Norway. They have a famous musician, Dr. Awesome, but personally I don't like his music... They release musicdisks and they are also doing the Eurochart Top 10... Their demos are dull...
4) Which groups do you expect to drop in the future and why? I think none of the before-mentioned groups will drop dead in the future. Some of them will be less active than what they have used to be, but none of them will die. (Well... perhaps Crusaders...)
5) Which groups do you expect to climp in the future and why? Razor 1911 will probably be at the top for a long time. IT will probably drop some places in the Top Norwegian Chart if they don't release anything soon. (Well... They will of course release something at the party, but...) But they have some of Norway's best coders and the best composer. Cryptoburners will be numver two, Crusaders will probably drop several places because of Dr. Awesome is only making (?) music for games at the moment. No Limits can become really big in Norway, the same thing counts for Fraxion.
