In The Tramway (16)
"Asshole!", I said.
The men in front of me turned around: "Beg you pardon?"
I repeated: "Asshole."
He was a little bit astonished, but he staid calm and looked in my face. He expressed his displeasure by wishing me kindly a good morning. This man obviously meant to offend me. I kicked his leg. He screamed slightly but didn't bat an eye, and turned tactfully away. This act, which apperently was supposed to humiliate me, made me take his light brown Trenchcoat and tear it into pieces. Now, the man obviously intended to go away, and went some steps forward. You can't do that with me! I couln't put up with this insolence. I had to kick the man in his back. He broke down and said "Help" in a low voice. Well, this did slightly anger me. I dragged the man out of the tramway and hanged him at the next street-lamp. Frankly, I just can't stand being provoked!
