AC/DC: If You Want Blood (1978) Here is a record for all you guys who know what real music is. This record by AC/DC is the only one from AC/CD which is recorded live. It is a bit old (1978), but it is still very good. So if you want to buy a good record and like this kind of sound, then you should buy this one. It features the songs from the older albums (which are also very good !), but this time as I said before, recorded live. I like especially the song (blues) 'The Jack' (Hello Jack !), which starts very slow and gets faster and faster. But also songs like : "Let there be rock" or "Whole lotta rosie" (All real AC/DC fans should know them) are great. And the live atmosphere makes this LP more and more a great production. So if you are interrested go to the next LP-shop and buy this LP. It may happen that it isn't available, because in the most shops you only find these boring "rum-ta-bum- sounds". Search for the right shop until you have this record. And then you are finally happy, when you can listen to this record. Remember, that such records require good amplifiers and loudspeakers to enjoy the real sound. "Pump up the volume !".
MEGADETH: So Far..So Good..So What! Are you also one of this mad guys who likes to listen to this always similar 'bum-bum-bum-ta-bum' songs. Then here is a record which destroys your 'oh-no-it-is-too- heavy-ears'. It is a record by Megadeth called: "So far.. So good.. So What". Buy this incredible mindblasting record, go at home, turn your amplifier to the highest volume and then enjoy... The record starts with the instrumental "Into the lungs of hell" with fast and great guitar sound. Then the next song "Set the world afire" follows. This one starts with an old song and then an explosion breaks this oldie and again guitar sound starts. In the middle to the end of the sound the guitar becomes faster and also the voices don't cry as low as in the beginning. In one word : GREAT. Some other great songs follow like: "Anarchy in the U.K" or 'Liar'. All in one this is a record for all those who want to finish listening to this boring 'bum-bum-ta-ta- bum-bum' and start to listen to the real music, heavy music. But this is also a record for Heavies, who don't listen to this sound (every Heavy knows Megadeth !!).
