Le Salon de la Micro 1989 (The FrenchmicroExpo) Well, France is not really famous for its Microcomputer Expo (excepted the SICOB). But a new Computershow is born. It was held the 13,14 and 15 October 1989 in Paris. Of course, Commodore France was present.
First of all, we can notice that Ackerlight Software (Yes the ex-french cracking team!) was showing its latest utilities (E.A.M) and games (Wings Of Glory, in the pure style of 1943) and I can announce exclusively for you, Zine readers, that they plan to make a game like Dungeon Master. But other French softwarehouses were present: Infogrames displayed their new games : Drakkhen (A role game), North and South (Funny Wargame adapted from a french comics called LEs Tuniques Bleues). Microids (another french software house) was presenting Blue Angel, Highway Patrol II, Chicago 90 and Eagles Rider. UBI Soft was presenting Bat and Great Courts. Of course these softwares are for AMIGA.#
Also there was the First European Videogames Championship. Besides, there were conferences, themas forums, demonstrations, games.. Well, the first issue of this new french Expo was quite interesting. We met a lot of people. Conferences talked about mainly every kind of topics!
