Zine #5 on BitFellas

Zine #5 was released on June 2nd, 1990 at the Alcatraz Pentcoast Party in Aubonne, Switzerland. It was in many ways a more focused issue than the last one, and indeed does have slightly fewer articles. It seems what was cut was a lot of of the non-scene material, making - as mentioned - a more focused issue. There are some hilarious news items in the news section of this issue, such as "That sounds funny, a scene on a IBM-computer!" and "Apple wants to produce a home computer, too." The German language content was also at an all-time low, with only 3 articles (of which one is translated to English within the magazine).

This magazine was originally presented in a very specific form - in a hardcoded computer diskmagazine. The text does not always translate to the web format as fluently as I'd have liked, but I did my best to make it look as good as possible. All grammatical and spelling errors appeared in the original magazine, and fixing them would have been falsifying history. This is the original magazine's text, as it was, complete and unabridged.

Special thanks to Bpoint (who extracted the raw text), to Axel (the Zine main man!), to Alien (for support, and the platform to make this even possible) and to KF (for the kickass banners!)
